Experience Spain's capital city of Madrid, as well as the dazzling city of Barcelona, home to the 1992 Summer Olympics.
BECOME IMMERSED IN THE RICH CULTURE OF SPAIN
During our stay, we will tour both Madrid and Barcelona, study the history of Spain, its many cultural influences, the role of the Catholic Church, the works of artists like Picasso, Dali and Goya, and architect Gaudi, visit the site of the 1992 Olympics, and discuss modern issues facing Spain. We will also learn to dance flamenco, cook traditional Spanish dishes, ride a cable car to the top of Montjuic for a spectacular view of Barcelona, and take a day excursion to the beautiful formations of Montserrat.
