Develops skills in preparing proteins, grains, baked goods, and vegetables; gain an understanding of various ways humans have preserved and prepared food and why those methods are effective; and discover how scientific phenomenon impacts our food—all while learning and practicing kitchen and food safety protocols.

Gain skills and experience working with children in an educational setting, learn about credentialing and teacher training programs, and plan and teach a lesson (with feedback from a mentor teacher).
